Mag-Chemal

Polishing cloth to be used on a magnetic support disc.

For chemical/mechanical final polishing of all materials.

Chemal is a synthetic foam cloth for final polishing with oxide suspensions.

Chemal can be used with both acidic, alkaline and neutral oxide polishing suspensions. This includes both fumed silica suspensions, colloidal silica suspensions and alumina suspension.

Use low forces; 15N on a 30 mm sample. For the best result, use plenty of suspension to avoid running dry.
